The clan that Blackhand the Destroyer ruled for many years and from which he rose to prominence. Rend and Maim Blackhand were two other prominent figures of the clan. Orgrim Doomhammer later assumed control of the clan by killing Blackhand. The Blackrock Clan was the most powerful of the clans of the invading Orcish Horde. It saw countless victories against the Humans in the First War, and continued to dictate the course of the Horde during the Second War.

Located primarily at Blackrock Spire, the Blackrock Clan was defeated by the Alliance during the Second War, and many of its members were placed into prison camps.
