Auction Houses in World of Warcraft are used for buying and selling items. Each racial city has an auction house, which are linked to the other auction houses of that major faction (ie Alliance or Horde). There also exists a special type of auction house, which allows trade between Horde and Alliance, although these tend not to be as popular as the major faction auction houses.

While simple in concept, auction houses have provided a great deal of depth to the game. This category includes further information and resources relating to auction houses.
