Background

All orphans wish they had someone to show them the wonders of the world. Throughout the year, they spend their time wandering around their home cities of Stormwind or Orgrimmar, dreaming of the day they'll be old enough (and big enough) to venture out into the world alone and see the sights their parents would have shown them. During Children's Week, though, brave adventurers for the Horde and the Alliance can make these kids' dreams come true! To help these kids see the world, all you have to do is visit the orphanage for your faction. Talk to either Orphan Matron Nightingale in Stormwind (Alliance) or Orphan Matron Battlewail in Orgrimmar (Horde). ~ Blizzard Entertainment

From May 1st to May 7th, the Orphan Matrons in Orgrimmar, Stormwind and Shattrath will give you a quest to look after an orphan for the duration of Children's Week. You can summon and dismiss the child. The child will give you three quests and after you've done those three talk to him again and he'll give you two more. The quests from the orphans in Stormwind or Orgrimmar gains reputation with the player's faction, ie Horde or Alliance. The Shattrath Orphan quests will reward Lower City reputation.

Players must be level 10+ to be eligible for the quests in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, and 60+ for the quests from Shattrath.
