Deadliest Catch

Deadliest Catch is a Fishing Achievement required to get the title reward: Salty, from the Accomplished Angler Achievement. In order to complete Deadliest Catch, you need to do a delivery quest. It takes you around 30 minutes to get this whole thing done.

Nat's Measuring Tape

If you have been doing the Fishing daily quests, you probably have a few Elixir of Water Walking in your bag or in the bank. Otherwise, you can buy them from the Auction House. If you are an alchemist you can learn how to create this elixir with Crystal Brightspark (Grand Master Alchemy Trainer) at the Argent Tournament Grounds. You can learn how to make them by visiting the Elixir of Water Walking link.

Ask a guild member or a player lvl 1 to accept an invite. Only need two players to create a raid group. Go to Zul'Gurub, in Stranglethorn Vale and zone in. Turn on your tracker (found on the upper left corner of your mini-map) and set it to track low level quests. Mount, and turn to your left. Be careful with the trolls in a hut down the hill. Go slow. Jump off the cliff to fall into the lake.

Drink the Elixir of Water Walking and jump. This will allow you to walk on the water while mounted. Head east. Your goal is to reach the northeast corner of the lake. There you will find Pagle's Pointe, with a series of tents and camping stuff.

There you will find a small crate with a quest sign. The quest is titled: .

Nat's Measuring Tape
Amongst the shattered fishing lures and tackle is a rolled, silken measuring tape. Attached to the tape is a lable that reads: "Nat Pagle, Dustwallow Marsh." Quest Objectives: Return Nat's Measuring Tape to Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh. -- coordinates [60,66]

At this point, use your hearthstone to return to Dalaran. Go to the Violet Citadel, by the second floor, and take the teleport to the outdoor area of the Caverns of Time. Take the flightpath in Gadgetzan and fly to Mudsprocket (the goblin camp in southern Dustwallow Marsh). Head east, past the Wyrmbog, until you reach the coast. You can find Nat Pagle at coordinates [60,66].

Nat Pagle: Hello there, sonny. You here to do some fishing? Why, you found my favorite measuring tape! I love this tape! I measured some of the biggest fish I ever caught with it ... But, I lost this tape in Zul'Gurub ... you've been to Zul'Gurub? Did you see the fabled Gahz'ranka? Well ... do you want to catch him? You: I want to catch Gahz'ranka! Tell me how! Nat Pagle: To catch Gahz'ranka, you'll need a special Mudskunk lure. I make'em myself! But you need more than just the lure; you need some mudskunks too ... you need to place them in the lure to give it a rank old smell! When you have the mudskunks, throw the lure off Pagle's Point in Zul'Gurub ... and then grab a drink and wait ... but not too long, because Gahz'ranka is sure to come a'stomping! Nat, I want to buy your mudskunk lures!

Nat Pagle will sell you the Mudskunk Lure for 1 gold.

Wear your Medallion of Karabor to teleport to the Black Temple. Fly to Shattrath City. Take the teleport to Undercity (Horde players) or Stormwind City (Alliance players). If you are Horde, take the Zeppelin to Grom'Gol and return to Zul'Gurub. Alliance players should ride to the flightmaster and fly to Rebel Camp in Stranglethorn Vale to return to Zul'Gurub.

Zone in, and turn on your fish tracker. Mount and ride to the left to jump off the cliff to land on the lake. Drink the Elixir of Water Walking and look around for Muddy Churning Waters. Since you have the Water Walking buff, you can fish these pools without the risk of aggroing crocs in the shore. Fish five Zulian Mudskunks.

Ride toward the Pagle's Point once you fish those, and click the Mudskunk Lure item in your inventory bag. You will see the Deadliest Catch achievement flash on the lower side of your screen. At this point get away from the shore, and ride uphill. This way you won't aggro Gahz'ranka. The idea is not to kill him, just to fish him. By now your Hearthstone's cooldown must be nigh over.
