Jaina Proudmoore is a powerful young member in the Alliance. Like Arthas she is the next generation of Human leadership, being the daughter of the legendary Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore. Daelin is the leader of Kul Tiras and commander of the Alliance Navy. Jaina is also possibly part of the Kirin Tor, the secretive order of mages ruling the nation of Dalaran.

Sadly, her oldest brother died tragically when the Third Fleet of Kul Tiras was demolished by Red Dragons.

Her current whereabouts is residing as leader over the human settlement on Theramore Isle.

Jaina in World of Warcraft
Born to Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore of Kul Tiras Jaina lived a healthy life among the nobility of The Alliance. Her father was very well respected and, among then, King Terenas’s closest friends and advisors. The youngest of three Jaina has two brothers Derek and Tandred who both served in their father’s navy. Unknown too many, including herself, Jaina has a half sister, Finnall Goldensword, born to her father and an elf sorceress whom Daelin meet on one of his many trips to Dalaran over the years. (Archivist Note: Information regarding Finnall Goldensword is hereby restricted to the High Archivist only. Archive information has been removed upon request. Thank you)

As Jaina grew up it was revealed she possessed a great deal of magical potential as well as a natural staggering beauty. She then moved to the city of Dalaran at Cross Island near the capitol to begin training. Some years later she was mentored by Lord Antonidas himself and became his personal pupil. Rumor of any relationship between Jaina and Prince Kael’thas Sunstrider have never been proven true as shortly after these rumors arose a relationship was made public between Jaina and Prince Arthas Menethil. While supported by the common folk and nobility the relationship eventually fell apart as the two focused more on their individual goals.
Rumor of a plague in the northlands lead Jaina and Arthas to be reunited upon Lord Antonidas’s request a few years later. Outside the village of Andorhal they discovered the Cult of the Damned and the Necromancer Kel’Thuzad. Though defeated and killed Kel’thuzad’s actions set in motion events that would change the world forever.
Following a trail of plagued grain the duo and their troops arrived too late to save the city of Stratholme from infection. (For further information regarding these events please consult Archive #134 or speak with an Archivist. Thank you)

After these events Jaina led many Alliance survivors, at Medivh’s behest, across the Great Sea to Kalimdor and founded the nation of Theramore. (Note: The exact date of Theramore’s founding is currently unavailable) At the same time these survivors fought with and eventually aided both the Horde and Night Elves in battling and defeating the Burning Legion at Mount Hyjal. Soon after Jaina was appointed ruler of Theramore and maintains that standing as of this archiving.

An unsteady peace eventually formed between Theramore and the Horde that lasts to this day but not without cost of course. Shortly after the Legions defeat Admiral Proudmoore, Jaina’s father, arrived to takeover Theramore and slaughter the Horde before they could completely fortify their new capitol at Orgrimmar.
Torn between love of family and her realization that the old hatreds would cause even more suffering Jaina agreed to not interfere as Horde forces, lead by the Warchief Thrall and the Mok’Nathal Rexxar, assaulted Theramore. In the ensuing battle Theramore was spared but Lord Admiral Proudmoore and many of his men were killed. Shortly after Horde forces withdrew without incident.
This peace was short lived however, as several years ago an incident involving a faction called the Burning Blade nearly reignited war between the Horde and Theramore. Thanks to the aid of the rediscovered Magda Aegwynn, the former Guardian of Tirisfal, the demon Zmodlor was exposed as the leader of the Burning Blade and defeated. Aegwynn has remained in Thermore as Jaina’s Chamberlain and fills that position still.
