New Loot

New loot added in Patch 2.4, including dungeon drops, reputation rewards and new items.

Sunwell Plateau

The new 25 man dungeon, Sunwell Plateau, contains 6 new bosses and plenty of new loot. The last boss, Kil'jaeden, is rumoured to drop the New Legendary Bow, Thri'dal, the Star's Fury, as seen below:

Magister's Terrace

The new 5 man dungeon on Sunwell Isle, Magister's Terrace, contains 4 bosses and is available on normal or heroic mode. Players will face an Undead Kael'thas Sunstrider as the last boss on heroic mode (and normal mode currently, on the Test Realms).

Shattered Sun Offensive

The new faction on Sunwell Isle rewards players with a new selection of armor, weapons, accessories and recipes, among other things. The members of this faction also change the relics found inside the 2 new instances into armor for players. See what the Shattered Sun Offensive have to offer on their page.

Known Issues

The following known issues are reported as late as the night, before patch release:

"As the 2.4 patch is still in development there are still issues that need to be resolved. This is a list of issues currently occurring on the 2.4 PTR that we are aware of and working to resolve. There is no need to report these issues here in the forums or via the in-game feedback tool." Items

• Only one player per zone is able to get mana back from drinking at one time.

UI

• The new combat log is currently a work in progress bugs with the log should be held until we announce that it is ready for testing.

• Using an instant ability after Steady Shot can lock out the use of Auto Shot.
• Sometimes when Master Loot is enabled with a threshold above uncommon the Master Looter still has to assign uncommon Bind on Pickup loot.
• Players are initially unable to loot any Bind on Pickup items with Master Loot on.

NPCs

• Renaming Hunter pets disconnects the client.
• Shattrath City Peacekeepers and Scryer Vault Guardians are missing from Shattrath City.
• Gear conversion NPCs in Quel’danas are not fully implemented.
• Madrigosa's flight path outside the Sunwell Plateau has unnatural movements.
• The Hellfire Channelers in the Magtheridon encounter are not resetting properly.

Mac

• Mac OSX 10.5.0 will corrupt the World of Warcraft application if it's approved individually to pass through a Firewall.
• Mac OSX 10.5 is not playing back audible sounds over voice chat.
