The Instance

Stratholme, formerly one of humanity's greatest and wealthiest cities, is infested by undead creatures, the Scourge laying claim to the city. It is one of many instance which commonly used to be tackled by level 60 groups, but these days it sees much less interest due to the new level 70 level cap.

Location

The ruins of Stratholme burn in their eternal flames in northern Lordaeron, what is now known as the Eastern Plaguelands. There are two entrances, one being the main entrance to the city, and the other being the servant's entrance, needing a key acquired from inside the instance. If a traveler can fight his way north through the hordes of undead and the stench of unhallowed grounds, he may catch a glimpse of the city.
