Tavarok, 2nd boss of the Mana Tombs

General Info

Tavarok is a light blue colossus, he is the 2nd boss in the Mana Tombs wing of Auchindoun

• Level (Normal): 66 Elite
• Level (Heroic): 72 Elite
• Type: Giant

Abilities

• Melee – Hits for about 450-600 damage.
• Arcing Smash
• Earthquake – Stuns all within 40 yard range for 3 seconds, dealing about 900 damage each second.
• Crystal Prison – Randomly targets a party member, lasts 5 seconds dealing 10% health loss each second.

Strategy

Tank and spank, not much strategy comes in to play with this guy aside from just pummeling him. Hunters and mages can avoid his earthquake ability if they have the increased range talents. His Crystal Prison seems to be completely random but alone will not kill anyone and he does not spam it.

Warlock's can enslave the Nexus Terror in front of Tavarok and use it to tank him, Tavarok has poor damage output and probably will not get the Nexus Terror down to even 50% health before he dies.
